Since 2008, Fernie Athletic Therapy has been partnered with PEAK Orthotics from Courtenay, BC utilizing the Internationally Acclaimed the Amfit® system - 3D Contact Digitizing - for the measurement of Custom Foot Orthotics.

The Amfit 3D Contact Digitizing System creates a perfect replica of the undersurface of your foot.  Our practitioners align the lower leg, foot and ankle to optimize your biomechanical position. We then build the most comfortable and functional Orthotic for any type of footwear. Since the system we use is one of Canada’s two official methods for the creation of Custom Foot Orthotics, most extended health plans will cover our products.

Our Custom Foot Orthotics work especially well for:

• Reducing or eliminating most foot, knee hip and back pain
• Improving posture, stance and balance
• Injury Rehabilitation
